A well-known U.S.-based provider of downhole drilling tools had been working with Rockatek for over three years to enhance the performance of their existing technology. Project Scope & Execution
The client entrusted Rockatek to lead the entire development process, seamlessly integrating their in-house engineering team under Rockatek’s direction. The goal: bring a next-generation tool to market on an accelerated timeline.
Full Project Management – Rockatek ran the entire project, from concept to prototype, managing all design, analysis, testing, and manufacturing efforts.

Risk-Based In-House Testing – To mitigate technical risks, Rockatek conducted targeted testing on high-risk components, refining the design before full-scale prototyping.
Prototype Fabrication & Validation – Three full-size prototypes were manufactured, with one subjected to full-scale testing at Rockatek’s world-class facility, simulating real-world downhole conditions.
