Mechanical design solutions

Rockatek offers complete design solutions ranging from conceptual design layouts to completed assembly and documentation packages. Our designers and engineers can work from customer design briefs and specifications to generate concepts and proposals at the early stage of a project or work as part of a broader team on full product development projects.

Rockatek’s expert designers work closely with our mechanical engineers, analysts and technicians, in order to produce detailed design solutions that are underpinned by sound engineering principles. We offer cost-effective solutions within our optimisation of existing products and development of new innovative technology and systems.

We utilise industry-leading software, including Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks 3D modelling packages, alongside PLM and PDM programmes to control documentation and configurations. Our CAD engineers have experience and expertise within a multitude of engineering industries, allowing us to design products for the renewable energy, oil and gas, defence, aerospace, industrial and motorsport sectors.

Our designers work in both 2D and 3D formats offering complete packages of component and assembly drawings, 3D models and assemblies accompanied by Engineering Bills of Materials.
